If you head out beyond the village, past the last few houses, you’ll eventually find Meadow Farm.
That’s where you’ll find Sam.
Sam is Maplewick’s local farmer, and farming is very much a way of life for him. He spends his days looking after the land, tending to the animals and keeping everything at the farm running as it should.
He’s up early, works hard and isn’t afraid of getting his hands dirty.
And then there’s his trusty yellow farm truck.
It’s an important part of Sam’s daily life, carrying him around the farm and into Maplewick when he needs to bring things into the village. It’s become just as familiar around Maplewick as Sam himself.
Sam is practical, friendly and happiest when he’s busy. He doesn’t need much fuss and is perfectly content with the simple routines of farm life.
Although he spends much of his time out in the fields, Sam is very much part of village life too. He knows the people of Maplewick, and they’re always pleased to see him — particularly when he’s bringing something fresh from the farm.
You might not find Sam wandering around the High Street very often.
But if you hear the rumble of his yellow truck coming down the road, you’ll know he’s arrived.
And if you follow it back out of the village…
You’ll probably find Sam at Meadow Farm.
