If something is happening in Maplewick, there’s a good chance Penny knows about it.
Penny runs the Maplewick Village Hall, making sure it is ready for all the things that bring the village together.
Birthday parties, village meetings, craft afternoons, celebrations and the occasional event that nobody can quite remember who organised — Penny somehow keeps it all moving.
She is organised, practical and always ready to help.
The village hall is more than just a building to Penny. It’s where Maplewick comes together. It’s where neighbours catch up, children make a little too much noise, friendships are made and village stories are shared.
Penny knows that getting everyone in one room doesn’t always go entirely to plan.
But she’s very good at making it look as though it did.
You’ll often find her making lists, arranging chairs, checking the noticeboards or making sure there are enough cups for everyone.
And if something goes missing?
Ask Penny.
She probably knows where it is.
The Village Hall wouldn’t quite be the same without her.
After all, someone has to keep Maplewick organised.
And Penny is just the person to do it.
