If you hear someone running down the street in Maplewick, there’s a very good chance it’s April.
April is seven years old, full of energy, and almost always on the lookout for her next adventure.
With her blonde hair tied into two high ponytails with pink bows, she’s pretty easy to spot as she races around the village.
April loves dressing up, exploring and getting involved in whatever happens to be going on. She has a wonderfully curious nature and a habit of turning even the most ordinary afternoon into an adventure.
A walk to the shops?
An expedition.
A trip to the park?
A mission.
Something interesting spotted at the end of the street?
Obviously, it needs investigating.
April and Sophie are sisters, although they couldn’t be more different. While Sophie likes to stop, think and find out the facts, April is usually already halfway down the road shouting, “Come on!”
Fortunately, Sophie is often there to work out where they’re actually going.
April brings a little bit of chaos, a lot of energy and plenty of fun to Maplewick.
And if something exciting is happening in the village, you can be fairly certain April will be right in the middle of it.
Probably wearing something fabulous.
And probably with a new adventure already planned.
